Hot or Cold Apple Cinnamon Porridge!

I love porridge. I really, really do and this is my favourite breakfast to make so I thought I would share it. It’s very, very simple but tastes so so good. You will need:

Terrible lighting = Terrible photos!
  • 50g porridge oats
  • 1 grated apple (I use a red apple just because it looks nicer!)
  • 100ml milk (I prefer almond milk, but any milk is fine!)
  • A handful of raisins
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • Optional sweetener (I don’t use any as the apple makes it sweet enough for me)

Then you simply mix all these together. Shown above is a cold porridge that I then put in to the fridge overnight ready to eat in the morning. So quick and simple, and makes getting ready for work that bit easier. 

If you have a bit more time, and would prefer it warm, then simply follow the instructions but put it in to a pan and heat on a low temperature. The only adjustment you may want to make if doing it this way, is possibly a little more milk!
