Visiting Bristol Christmas Market

What’s better than a Christmas market to get even more in the festive mood? I really wanted to visit Bath market this year as I just really love Bath but who knew it finished so early in December? Not me. So this meant in terms of location, I stuck to my good old hometown of Bristol for the Christmas market this year with two of my friends – Laura and Megan.

Food stalls dominate the market but we only really stopped at the sweet treat stalls. I picked up three fudges (didn’t take a photo), Oreo, Malteser & Jammie Dodger. They were pretty disappointing as they all just tasted of fudge. I only spent £2 on them though so it wasn’t the end of the world, unlike the guy before me who spent £28!! I can imagine he wasn’t impressed.

As much as I love the festivities of a Christmas market, they’re of course very crowded so, we actually left the hot chocolate queue and went to Starbucks instead for a warm drink and catch up. I had the fudge hot chocolate – so good!

Are there any markers you’d recommend me to visit in 2017?
